About this Role
Slingshot is looking to hire a talented and passionate senior software developer who is capable and interested in working on .NET based applications and working with Microsoft SQL Server. We want someone who enjoys helping businesses with technology and likes collaboration.
In this role you’ll be expected to write code, communicate with stakeholders and other developers and team members, and execute on projects of various sizes and complexity. The team you’ll join will have other mid and senior level developers, a project manager, and QA analysts.
You’ll work on back end routines and code, APIs, and various internal and external facing web applications. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional quality code and communicating frequently and clearly with the rest of your team.
We don’t expect you to be an expert at everything but in this role you should be proficient in web, database, and backend technologies primarily in the Microsoft Stack.
A more comprehensive list of technologies you will encounter in this role are: .NET Core, C#, Angular, Vue.js, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET Framework w/MVC, Javascript, HTML/CSS, and AWS.

About this role
We’re hiring a full-time Senior UX/UI Designer who’s passionate about improving people’s lives through design. In this role you’ll be designing software. This includes mobile apps, customer- facing web products, consumer apps, and other technologies that drive business and user value.
The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding what motivates people. You should be an excellent communicator and excited about getting to know users first-hand. The insights you learn will enable you to craft informed, creative solutions with real impact.
Summary
● Co-own the entire design cycle, from ideation to creation
● Create clean, straightforward, innovative user interfaces
● Engage users first-hand to gather key insight into their unmet & unspoken needs
● Hands-on design: Develop concepts, wireframes, and prototypes
● Conduct usability testing to validate and tweak designs
● Collaborate with your fellow UX/UI Designers, Product Owners, and Engineers
Qualifications
● Expert at designing clean, intuitive, and innovative interfaces
● Passion for Human-Centered Design & Lean UX
● Excited about collaborating and co-designing
● Expert in Sketch and Adobe CC (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
● Experience with prototyping tools (such as Invision, Framer, etc.)
● Proficiency with Front-End UI technologies a bonus but not necessary (such as
WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
