.NET Developer

About this Role

Slingshot is looking to hire a talented and passionate full-stack software developer.  You’ll work primarily on a web-based enterprise application written in .NET/Microsoft SQL Server, hosted in AWS.   

You’ll be responsible for developing new features, support, debugging, and maintenance. You’ll work with a small but very strong team of 2-3 senior software developers within a dynamic rapid-paced high-growth client environment.   We want someone who enjoys helping businesses with technology, likes collaboration, and is a strong communicator.   

We don’t expect you to be an expert at everything but in this role you should be proficient in web, database, and backend technologies. While technologies are always changing, you’ll most commonly be working with .NET, C#, Vue.js, Microsoft SQL Server, and AWS.

Summary

  • Be excited about collaboration with your fellow developers, designers, product leads, and clients
  • Write clean and well-organized code
  • Test your code and pay attention to details
  • Work with front-end technologies using Javascript frameworks and HTML/CSS
  • Write APIs and database access for relational and non-relational databases
  • Be knowledgeable about how Cloud technologies, such as AWS, can be used in a solution

    What's it like working at Slingshot?

    We call ourselves big kids and daredevils because we like to have fun, but we also like to challenge ourselves and our clients. Everyone here is incredibly talented and we push each other to be better. Designer and developer collaboration is a regular thing. As a developer, we want you to continue to learn and hone your craft. Designers will be talking with fellow designers and product managers on a daily basis, and hopefully adding to our wall of post-it doodles.

    As a member of the slingshot team, we expect everyone to speak their mind when they have an idea and challenge and respect their coworkers. We play Jenga tournaments, have a ball pit conference room, and begin every meeting by the ringing of a gong. We have some meetings that are all business, but our bourbon corner with the bright yellow couch and bean bags shows we balance work and fun. We are no ordinary tech company.
